Got several concert and award invites from two blogger friends scheduled this week and the next. I am very tempted to go but I just realized I also have a lot (as in A LOT!) of work to do in the office. I went on leave for two days to accompany my sister Jodie in securing a medical clearance in PUP. It's one of the requirements for her enrollment next month.

Events and school activities like enrollment have something in common: they all need effective crowd control. Needless to say, it's for keeping things in order and ensuring the success of the activities lined-up. Concerts, for instance, use barricades to control the flow and sort out people based on ticket prices.

Crowd control is a serious task. Aside from physical supervision, it also requires crowd control products for a more effective traffic control, security and privacy. In one of the high-end events I had the privilege to attend, I remember seeing chrome stanchions with velvet rope. I thought the event looked more elegant because of them.
