Malacanang declared yesterday that September 7, 2009 (Monday) is going to be a special non-working day in deference to the burial of the late Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) Executive Minister Ka Erano "Erdy" Manalo slated on that date.
This initiative by the government is apt as it will give the INC community ample time to pay their last respects to their beloved leader. Lucky them and the rest of Pinoys who will be enjoying this additional holiday. As for me, our office is in-charge of an important event slated this Monday and so far, there are no signs that it won't push through.
