Reality shows are the "in" thing today. After the huge success of Pinoy Big Brother, I wonder what's the next reality show to get aired in local TV. I think it would be great if our country's entertainment industry could come up with something like True Beauty that aired last night in the States. A new year offering from ABC, True Beauty is a reality show that combines the different facets of fashion and personality in an elegant, high-profile setting. Here, contestants will vie for $100,000 and a photo feature in People magazine's "100 Most Beautiful People" issue. But it's not about modeling skills anymore as the judges will judge them according to their integrity and character. Now, that is true beauty in the real sense of the word.

Dubbed as the love child of America's Next Top Model and Punk'd, the show is produced by Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher.

I'm not a big fan of reality shows but it seems True Beauty was created with a different concept in mind. At any rate, I wonder how long it will take for the show to arrive in the Philippines. Surely, this is something to watch out for. :)
