And now that Nagtahan in Manila has it, people who live within the vicinity (that includes me) are very pleased. Why not if you don't have to go to the mall anymore to do grocery shopping? I checked out the opening of this new establishment (I was on leave to do some important errands) and was not surprised to see that it was jampacked with people. It was as if some huge battallions of the AFP trooped to Nagtahan to wage war to an equally huge selection of merchandise waiting to be purchased and brought home.
I did not look around for long to know how the program of activities went but I noticed there were booths giving away freebies to people. I was in a hurry so I left after paying the cashier. Anyway, here are some photos I took while standing in line to the counter:

I think the Save More market concept is very innovative because they are strategically located right where the households are. Instead of hitting the malls where supermarkets are found, all we have to do is walk straight to the new supermarket in the neighborhood and buy the stuff we need. Personally speaking, this will surely make a big difference in the way I do grocery shopping.
How about you, is there a Save More Market near your place? If yes, how's the experience? :)
