The sad state of unemployment in the Philippines makes many Filipinos worrying about their future and those of the generations to come. The government and the private sector should work hand-in-hand to create jobs. I think this is what was in the mind of the people behind Jobstreet.com when they launched their Career Fair 2008 dubbed as "JOBSolutely Cool," a series of job fairs designed to connect job seekers and employers to facilitate job creation.
The first career fair was held at SM City Cebu in March while the second recently took place in Glorietta 4 participated in by some of the largest companies in the country and thousands of job seekers. Now, the third leg is happening at Festival Mall, Alabang. Job seekers are advised to register in the event, either online or through SMS.
