My Burger King Experience

Posted by edelweiza in , , ,

My first visit to a Burger King store was during my college days. Before I knew it, I was already a regular customer. You can ask my Superfriend about that. I remember they used to have this promo where you get a decent meal for only P20. I would buy two different meals (that's P40) and I would get satisfied. Life then was simpler. But that's another story.

As some of you may have known, my schedule for the Burger King Treat was last Sunday, August 3rd. I went to my preferred branch (Burger King-MAll of Asia) at around 4:00 p.m. along with my two siblings and Albie to complete the "three companions" as suggested in the promotional e-mail. We were also joined by Edwin but he bought his own meal. Lol.

After getting a table for us, I immediately looked for the manager. I spotted him behind the counter. His name is Jonathan. I introduced myself and told him what I came for. He was very welcoming. He immediately had our free meals prepared and he would check on us every now and then. Cool.

Even if it was gloomy outside because of the weather, BK-Mall of Asia had a festive atmosphere. There were very few tables unoccupied. They say you can tell how nice a fast food restaurant is just by observing the people dining there. If it looks like they're having fun, then the place is worth a visit.

At BK-Mall of Asia on a Sunday afternoon, I saw that people were having a great time. The reason for this was the perks given to them. There were wifi for people who love to surf the net and charging stations for those with mobile phones and gaming gadgets. And wait till you hear this...Burger King offers free massage! Yes, there was a masseuse rounding the store offering free massage to BK customers. I heard it was the product of a survey conducted by Burger King two years ago.

The free meals weren't as "generous" as I imagined it to be, but the fact that I felt like a very important person during my stay at BK-Mall of Asia made up for it. So, did I really have it my way at Burger King? I say yes. Even my companions agree. They enjoyed the free meals and the wifi as well as the good service extended to us.

Sincere thanks go to Burger King (particularly BK-Mall of Asia, to Jonathan the manager and the rest of the snappy crew) and Yehey Philippines for this awesome treat. More power! :)

Free massage? All I can say is, WoW!
