The Magic of Goya Dark Mint

Posted by edelweiza in , ,

Among Goya’s latest sweet offerings namely: Dark Almonds, Black&White and Dark Mint, the latter is the one generating the most buzz from bloggers these days. Whenever I plurk, I would read messages of people enjoying a pack of Goya Dark Mint or two. How’s that for free advertisement? It seems this variant is enjoying a growing fan base despite the fact that many Filipinos prefer imported chocolates over locally-made ones.

I, for instance, like this new product of Goya and maintain that it’s one of the best dark chocolate with mint I’ve tasted. A friend who doesn’t like the unique combination of chocolate and mint has finally converted after tasting a piece from my pack. I guess it was the balance of chocolate and mint in Goya that spelled the difference. I like it that after the chocolate melts in my mouth, the mint remains to soothe my palate for the next two minutes.

Last Friday, Edwin and I stopped over a Mini-Stop convenience store on our way to the house after visiting the wake of an old friend who died on the same week. I bought two packs of Goya Dark Chocolate with Mint (at Php34 each) for my siblings. When I got home, the chocolates were gone in no time. That only goes to show how much my family like them.

To the people behind Goya, if in some strange stroke of fate you stumble upon this post, let me tell you that I love your Goya Dark Mint. I’m also impressed that you distribute this product for sale in other countries. You’re certainly making our country proud. Guess what, I would really appreciate it if you would sponsor an event for Goyaholic bloggers, like the launching of your new chocolate offerings in the future. It would surely be fun, and sweet! :)
