It's that time of the year again when grades are released, enrollment lines opened and tuition fees paid. We have two college students in the family at present. One is on her third year while the other has just started college, a freshman to be exact. So far, they've been doing good at university and because of that, my parents are the happiest.
I have yet to see the grades of the one in third year but for the freshman, I've already seen a couple. It's nice that the university she attends to has an online enrollment system. It does not only cut enrollment time by half, but it also makes everything more organized and accessible for the students.
I'm happy that my freshman sibling has already adjusted to college life. So far, her grades are desirable. I won't be surprised, though. She's been a consistent honor student back in high school.
Specifically, she excels in Math (while I hate it very much). She understands Equivalent fractions and Prime Factorization very well. She finds it easy to study about Line plot, Bar graph or even Linear programming. She finds Isosceles triangle interesting and does not need a Probability calculator to solve a probability problem. Young people these days are really smarter than those belonging to my generation. Well, at least in Math. Not that I'm complaining. I'm actually happy about this development.
Has enrollment rush reached your home yet?
