I had a pleasant 8-day stay in Bohol with the Techos but I can't share stories just yet. Why? Because this week is critical. It is critical not only for this nation of over 85 million people that will be swearing into office its new President on Wednesday (June 30), but personally for me as well.

This week, I'll find out whether I'd keep my job or not. I'm excited and nervous (at the same time)about July 1 when the new boss arrives. Yes I am hoping to get retained in the office but I know this is not for me to decide on. My officemates have met her already last Friday while I was still in Bohol and they seemed to have the same impression of her. They said she was a lady of style(a must for the position!) and looked kind. I dunno but I have mixed feelings.

I can only pray that the new boss be considerate enough to let us keep our jobs. If the opposite happens, then it'd be goodbye for all of us. I'd be terribly sad but at least my mind will finally be free from worries and I could move on. I have Plan B and Plan C etched in my head so I guess I'd be okay. I have to be OKAY.
