Moving to a new house can be pretty overwhelming, what with the many things one has to do to ensure the smooth movement of all personal belongings and household stuff. Based from my personal experience when we moved to our new home somewhere in Cavite just last week, it can be quite stressful, too. But no amount of stress can beat the sense of fulfillment from finally getting your own house and making it your home.

When we moved into our new house last week, we were very excited and ecstatic that we didn't get exhausted immediately. (It was delayed and happened on our first night in the house.) It was as if we were just playing. I loved how each family member worked together in putting stuff in their proper places. It wasn't a big house so we were able to do tasks together, one at a time.

When moving was finished, that was where I realized that we still have a lot of things to buy for our home as well as several works that need to be done to make it more comfortable for us. Obviously, our home improvement funds weren't enough to cover everything. But I was glad it didn't stop us from making our home functional and livable.

My parents were the happiest. The house will be their permanent abode, after all. Now I always look forward to weekends because I'm spending most of them in Cavite.

Our home is still a work in progress. I just hope we get to make it as beautiful, lively and complete as it could possibly be.

Too bad I haven't had the chance to take decent photos to show here. Maybe this weekend when I visit there. :)

Congratulations on the newly acquired house... what's more important is what's inside is really a HOME.

It's great to see the parentals happy... and really fulfilling to have a place of your own.

@MinnieRunner & Superf nice: convince nyo muna ako, no time to run eh. but i like the idea of running and getting healthy from it.

LOL! Ganyan din ako before eh. No time to run. Imagine gigising ka ng super early just to run a 5K? Takot pa akong lumuwas nun kasi madaling araw. Pero I conquered it. Sabi nga nila, kapag gusto may paraan :D

Just try it once. Ako tinry ko lang kung magugustuhan ko eh. And all of my hesitations vanished after running my first 5K :)

Yeah I agree with peddler of dreams, It's not that important if the house is too big. Hopefully everyone is super happy for a long long time!
