Car Plans and Car Problems

Posted by edelweiza in , , , , ,

Remember my post about car preferences? Edwin read it and for some reason, he told me it made him more inspired to get a car soon. I know it’s next to impossible since he still has some financial matters to attend to at present but then, I can’t just let his level of enthusiasm go down. So I said yes, we’ll plan for it together. Hopefully, we get to achieve our financial targets for this year. We have many plans this 2010 and getting a car we can call our own is just one of them.

Speaking of cars, a friend’s car has been acting up since last week. It wouldn’t start but there wasn’t any problem with its battery. I guess it need some overhaul because it’s been a long time since it got one. He may not know it but, what if the car’s timing belt need replacement already?

Car problems can be costly. It’s one of the factors that every interested car buyer should take into consideration before closing the car deal. As with my friend, I know he has money allotted for the maintenance of his car. He just needs to find a good auto repair shop like San Francisco auto repair and his car will be fine in no time. By the way, his car is a honda accord and he loves it like his own child.

better get a brand new one sis, a second hand car is hard to maintain, unless of course you know the previous owner. :)d

@eRLyn: right, if i were to buy a second hand car, i'll make sure i know the owner, if not the car itself. hehe. :)

I agree regarding the second hand car thing. It's best to get one from an owner you know because it may be flood-damaged or whatever.

I'm hoping to get a car this year, too! My old one was totaled during the flood. Sigh.
