Edwin and I went to Fernwood Gardens last January 8 to witness the union of our good friends Philip and Ronelle. It was the first wedding invitation we have received this year and we could never say no to them. It was also my first time to see Fernwood Gardens and I must admit I was impressed. The place was beautiful and romantic. I never knew such an awesome wedding venue exists in Quezon City.

Fernwood Gardens has its own church and its wedding venues are divided into several areas called gardens. Philip and Ronelle held their wedding reception at Cycad Garden. The ornamental shrubs that adorn it were magical. I got inspired to take photos because of them. The branches hanging down had such a lovely effect to our pictures. It was like a permanent fireworks display sans the loud bang and smoke.

Here are more pictures from one of the happiest weddings I've ever attended:

Philip and Ronelle were childhood friends in a village in Bacoor, Cavite. They got separated when Ronelle moved to Pasay City. Philip works for Sony Ericsson Japan while Ronelle is a chemist based in UST. The two met again after a couple of years and that was where they fell in love with each other and the rest is history.

the newly-weds welcomed their guests with a makulit na dance number

Edwin and Philip were classmates back in college and that was when their friendship was formed along with a few others. At the wedding, their classmates kept on teasing Edwin and I about our wedding plans. We answered through smiles and the overly used word "soon." It was effective.

And to further clarify the matter, yes, Edwin and I are getting married soon. We'll let our friends know once everything is fixed and finalized. It could be this year or early next year.

Thank you, congratulations and best wishes to Philip and Ronelle. We really had a blast on your wedding. It was such a happy but solemn one. May God bless your union! :)
