Hours from now, I will be turning 26 years old. There is really so much to be thankful for. I'm ecstatic now. I don't wish for anything special anymore for my birthday. I'm content with what I have now. I may never have all the finest things in this world, but I know I am blessed and I am loved. It sounds cliche but I think that is all that matters.
To those who are suffering right now due to the recent calamities, I feel for you. Be strong and lift up all your burdens to God. It won't be easy but there's still hope for all of us.
I feel that this ain't time to celebrate more than the usual so I'm remembering the day I was born silently, with my loving family and friends.
