I was watching the morning news a while ago when my brother showed me on the newspaper what could probably be one of the greatest breakthroughs in home security man has ever invented. It’s a door lock, but not the one you normally use at home that requires a key. It’s a keyless lock that requires a finger print, which is very much like what we use in the office for identification and monitoring purposes.

A keyless lock is an electronic lock that incorporates biometrics in its locking mechanism. It has a unique fingerprint identification technology that authenticates users instantly. In households, a keyless lock provides family members with access to doors and bolts using their own finger prints. This means no one can ever get access to your home or open your money bolt except the ones enrolled in it. Given that, the level of protection and security a keyless lock can give anyone’s home is high.

Our house in Cavite is nearing completion. If my time frame gets followed, I plan to have my parents transferred there next year. I will also save up to get our new home a keyless lock if only to provide my family with the maximum protection they deserve. In this time and age, we can trust no one and it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
