Now that my brother has a job, I can say my worries have been lessened. I still can't believe it. He has work now and soon will receive his first salary. Four years ago, he was just a freshman student, new to college life and all its complexities. Now he’s a certified professional, working for the government. Though his work doesn’t require much of his education as it’s more of an administrative job, he accepted it because he hates staying at home doing nothing. At least with his current job, he’ll get a feel of what is it to be a worker.

Just this morning, we went to work together. While walking along the street on the way to our workplace, we talked about the importance of continued education. Competition remains tough, may it be in the private sector or in the civil service. I, myself, am planning to take higher education once I have funds.

Distance learning is increasingly becoming popular as a method of acquiring higher education, especially for people who plan to take up business courses and IT certifications. I searched the net for some reputable online education providers and found K Alliance. It’s all the over the news in the United States because of its wide selection of courses and online education delivery formats. Also, they now offer distance learning courses that allow students to study anywhere and anytime they want, at the comforts of their own home or office. This is perfect for me since my free time is limited as I have a full time job and two part-time work.

Indeed, all I really need is time and resources to get higher education and realize my career goals.
