Posted by edelweiza in ,

Just for public knowledge, MalacaƱang has already announced, through Proclamation no. 1699 signed by PGMA yesterday, the holidays for 2009. Get the complete list after the jump...

REGULAR HOLIDAYS

April 6 - Araw ng Kagitingan

April 9 - Maundy Thursday

April 10 - Good Friday

May 1 - Labor Day

June 12 - Independence Day

August 31 - National Heroes Day

November 30 - Bonifacio Day

December 30 - Rizal Day

SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAYS

August 21 - Ninoy Aquino Day

November 1 - All Saints Day

December 31 - New Year’s Eve

November 2 and December 24 - additional special non-working holidays for All Saints Day and Christmas Day, respectively

Eid’l Fitr Celebration (End of Ramadan) - to be announced soon as it will be based from the Islamic calendar

Obviously, there are less holidays this year than last year. Anyway, I hope that helps you plan ahead how you'd want to spend your 2009.

Have a great day, friends! :)
