It's weekend once again. My week had been long. I'm grateful I managed to do all my tasks at work (both full time and part-time), my responsibilities as a breadwinner to my family and as a guardian to my two siblings who live with me here in Manila. I'm also glad I was able to squeeze in my schedule some awesome blogger events that added color to my social life. And more importantly, I was able to have my birth certificate corrected after taking two tiring trips to Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, the place where I was born. I'm just so grateful for a week that passed with me rising up to the daily challenges. It's over now so let's all enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Some of the things I'm about to do this weekend:
1. Attend a wedding. Finally, the dress I bought from the Divisoria Night Market will be put to use. Great!
2. Watch Pacquiao-dela Hoya fight. The first plan, which was to avail of a Diamond seat, is out of the question now since the tickets were already sold-out when I called the hotel this afternoon. I really should've called early. I don't know if we could get tickets from SM. The worst case scenario is we end up watching the game at home. Que sera, sera.
3. Report to part-time job. I'm quite sure we have bookings this weekend. If you feel like dining ala 19th Century Philippines, why not check our restaurant out?
4. Spend time with my siblings. This is of great importance to me. I'll do this either by watching DVD with them, cooking spaghetti for them or start with our English lessons. Yes, we are seriously talking about that. I plan to teach them English lessons so they could brush up on their English. Not that I'm an expert on that. I just feel their English isn't as competitive as they think. Haha.
5. Clean our room. This is long overdue. We really need to clean our room. I might as well add to this the elimination of my dirty clothes. If I would wash the laundry myself or have it sent to the laundry shop is the big question here.
6. Spend time with Edwin. The boyfriend has just got back from Baguio last night. We plan to watch the boxing fight of the year together.
7. Rest, rest, rest. Weekends are for rest. I really hope I could get enough rest this weekend. Enough said.
