I have just gotten back from Baguio this early morning. As expected, my two Cebu-based friends enjoyed touring around the city and so did we. I'll post about our fun weekend in the City of Pines in the coming days. For now, I wanna cherish the moment of pure bliss and excitement because I learned (just this morning) that I won not once, but twice, in two separate contests.
First is a Wii Party at Red Box from this fun contest of problogger Ms. Noemi Dado.There, all I needed to do was choose a Wii character that best represents myself. I chose Cooking Mama and I gave this winning answer:
Ms. Noemi e-mailed me twice about my winning her contest and I just learned about it today. I immediately e-mailed her back to express my gratitude and give some information needed by the PR company (they will instruct me on how to get my prize). Soon, I'll get scheduled for a Wii party at Redbox with four of my friends. Now, how fun could that be? I am thrilled now.
Second are two tickets from Nuffnang Philippines for the movie premiere of Burn After Reading. Remember this post? It's my winning entry! I also learned about my winning the contest via e-mail. I am super thankful.
They say that when it rains, it pours. That's what I'm experiencing right now. Two sweet surprises in a day, plus several small freebies (free ride, free food, etc.).
Thank you to the people responsible for the big smile on my face right now. You know who you are.
Of course, thank you to dear God for rewarding the breadwinner for her hard work in the form of sweet, little surprises. All this made my day. :)
