MOVIE PREMIERE
During the registration, I met my newest online friend Rashid for the first time. Actually, we were the early birds (see photo above). While waiting at the cinema lobby, I also spotted and said hi to several bloggers (Fitz, Ada, Mica, Jehzeel, etc.) whom I've met in previous blogger events.
Inside the cinema, we were seated alongside with my two blogger friends, Monique and Audrey.

At exactly 8:00 p.m., a brief program was conducted. Nuffnang Philippines welcomed the bloggers who showed up that night and gave some gift certificates to lucky bloggers. Danison was lucky to have won P500 worth of gift certificate at Italliani's Restaurant for being the first to register.

Minutes later, the movie started and the room was reduced to silence. But only for a short time because the movie was filled with scenes and dialogues that elicited a series of laughter from the audience.

MOVIE REVIEW
Burn After Reading is deceptively funny from start to finish. It follows the story of the main character (or the first character shown) CIA agent Osborn Cox (John Malkovich), his wife, his wife's lover, his wife's lover's other woman and that other woman's friends and the weird incident that would connect their lives.
In this movie, Brad Pitt is in his weirdest and funniest role ever as Chad. I never thought he's got a knack for comedy until that night. George Clooney, on the other hand, is still the charming guy that we think he is. He's a little bad though and he would pay for it in the end. As for the rest of the cast, I think they did well especially John Malkovich.
This movie drove me nuts for several moments. My brother thinks it's hilarious. I find it hilarious, too. But as in every movie, the end always justifies the means. It's a bit tragic but as they say, life's like that. Several issues in today's world are tackled and these issues really happen in real life. I won't elaborate more. Just watch it and see for yourself.
