The Bayantel Wireless Landline Prepaid (BWLP) which I bought last month acted up last night. It wouldn't connect to the Internet and I wondered why. My laptop couldn't recognize the Bayantel cable. It said "unknown device" referring to the cable and that was the first time it happened. The error said there was no dial tone. But how could that be if Edwin's BWLP had dial tone?
When I located Qualcomm (Bayantel driver) from the program files of my laptop, I couldn't find it. Another "How could that be?" I was so depressed and disappointed that I asked help from Edwin. When all else failed, he told me to reinstall it but the driver wouldn't appear. Arrgh. My head started to ache. I got impatient and just requested Edwin to have it reinstalled the next day.
My brother is taking the laptop and the BWLP to Edwin's house tonight. I hope things get back to normal when I get home from the office.
