waiting for my Ponds moment to beginImagine a party in a posh place with bloggers, models, PR professionals and random people enjoying a night of buffet food, booze, skin care products, internet connection, games, and cool music. It seems like so much fun, right? That was exactly what we experienced attending Pond's Taste of Beauty at Taste Asia, MOA last Friday night.
Actually, it's the fourth blogger event I've attended and so far, I've never went home sad and empty-handed. Freebies aside, blogger events are worth attending since it gives you opportunity to meet the faces behind avatars and screen names. You are clueless and yet you're excited. The fact is, once you get to attend a blogger event, you'll get hooked and search for more (online or through a blogger friend).

Back to my story, it was indeed fun to once again spend Friday night with friends and strike a conversation with fellow bloggers. I did the latter by joining a game where I met Xenia, Ate Sheng and Ate Cielo plus two others whose names I forgot. Each blogger and their guests received a long-stemmed rose and a Ponds Miracle Cream sample. Taste Asia was well-dressed that night (red carpet and flower arrangements) and people couldn't stop taking photos. Here are some of ours:
Superfriend and I chanced upon Ms. Aileen Apolo (the organizer) as we left the venue and asked for a photo with her. She was very accommodating and I think that's the reason why she has lots of friends in the blogosphere. (She has already added me in her Plurk network!)
