I usually try to get as much rest as possible during weekends but last Saturday was an exception. I started the day early to finish some important tasks. In the afternoon, I met up with my beau to go to Market! Market! in Taguig.
We had a late lunch at Oody’s Express located inside the mall. I’ve read a good review of the restaurant by a magazine before and that prompted me to dine there. I thought it was a perfect opportunity to prove the claims of the magazine. 
Oh boy, were they right! I’m no gourmand (just passionate about food) but I can say that our meal was oozing with Thai flavors, a delicate balance of hot, spicy, sour and sweet. It consisted of the restaurant's famous bagoong rice, a bowl of tom yam soup, a serving of catfish salad, an order of fried dumplings and two glasses of Thai iced tea.
Not only was the food delicious and the service fast, the price was also reasonable. We paid P500 for our meal, tip included. Not bad since we got full to the brim there was no room for desserts left. Definitely, we will be back.
However, those who would like to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine should dine only at authentic Thai restaurants as Oody's Express might fall short of your expectations. As the writings on the artsy walls of the restaurant claims, they offer " the best street food and desserts from Thailand." Nothing more, nothing less.
From Market! Market!, we took a stroll and checked out the nearby Serendra and Bonifacio High Street to burn the extra calories from eating a lot.
