Summer's here and I can't help but be excited over a lot of things. First among them are the out-of-town trips. I hope I could take my entire family to an out-of-town beach escapade this summer. I've already taken them to Mall of Asia and we had tons of fun malling together as a family. Speaking of which, it seems I've accomplished several from the list of 10 things I had long wanted to do last year which I published in this blog sometime in July 2010. Talk about getting things done. But first, let me do a quick check.

2. A trip to Mall of Asia (MOA) with my entire family. DONE. We did this. It was my mom's first time there and she enjoyed the trip so much. We had a filling dinner at my fave dining place A Veneto. We scheduled it just in time for some Christmas shopping so we went home with loads of new stuff for the holiday season. It was quite costly for me (goodbye Christmas bonus!) but after seeing the joy in the eyes of my loved ones I knew every single penny lost was well worth it.

3. A trip to Boracay with Edwin. DONE. Edwin and I celebrated our birthdays in the beautiful island paradise of Boracay. Three things we loved about Boracay: the powdery sand, the many activities you can try and the cheap eats.

5. Treat my jobs more seriously. BEING DONE CONTINUOUSLY. My day job is fine and so are my two part-time jobs (as tour guide and as a blogger making money online). I think a good proof to support the latter was when this blog of mine has been approved by PayU2Blog recently.

8. Getting a really short, man-like haircut. DONE. I'm now sporting a new hair 'do! It's a short pixie cut that's very low-maintenance. I love, love, love my new hair.

new look for summer

4 out of 10. I'm still happy because the quest continues. I'm traveling to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in October (that's to compensate for outshine No. 4) and I will be taking driving lessons very soon (to accomplish the No. 10 in the list) to serve as an alternate driver of Edwin's car and prepare myself as to when I'd get my own car someday. Haha.

Keep the positive vibes, Edel. It works like magic! :)

I love your new hair. Sabi nila guys don't like short hair, pero nung maiksi hair ko mas may nanliligaw pa sa'kin kesa pag mahaba hahaha!

Congrats din at na accomplish mo na ibang goal mo... (cheers!)
