The Good News

If you have been following this blog for some time now, you must be aware about the status of my job recently (and the uncertainty, pressure and anxiety that have come with it). Guess what, I got retained! Our reappointment papers are being processed now. Everybody in the office has kept our jobs except for one. It's sad to know we lost one comrade. But as they say, every battle has a casualty. Good thing that officemate of mine already has plans to work in Dubai. She's now in the process of completing her requirements. So I guess she's still lucky. She might even be luckier than us because she'll get a chance to earn more, and will experience to live in a different country as a bonus.

Thank you to my family and to all my friends who prayed that I get retained. I know it's only just for another  six years but I have a more concrete plan now. I'll use this new lease at employment to make myself more competitive. I plan to get a master's degree but I'm still undecided as to what degree program I should enroll to. I'll also use this period to save more money and finish more home improvement projects. Yey.

God is really good. :)

This is good news, Edel! Good thing the current administration retained some of the jobs given by the previous one.

@Abbie: Yep, we're so thankful they retained us. Ang totoo, marami rin natanggal dito sa ibang opis, marami umiyak. I really hope and pray they land a job soon. Thank you! :)

Yey! I'm sure the current administration has reasons why some employees lost their jobs. As for you, they saw that you must be doing a good job in your position that's why you're retained.

Congrats edel!!! :) As I told Nice, the only reason that you will not be retained is - "if you did not do your job properly in the last 6 years :) ... in short petiks lang :P hehehe...

@Audrey: hehe, thanks mah friend! medyo sad lang kasi yung ibang ok din ang work at di petiks ay natanggal, kasi nga kailangan daw talaga magbawas ng tao. :)
