It's only recently that I have started this simple but healthy breakfast. It's cheese, lettuce and lite salad dressing on whole wheat bread. It's very easy to prepare and very filling, too. I think I can have this breakfast during weekdays on a regular basis for a long time.

My breakfast is also cheap. A big loaf of whole wheat bread from Gardenia costs P65 at SM Supermarket. The eden cheese I use is from Kraft. The big box costs less than a hundred pesos. A head of lettuce is pegged at P20 and can go higher depending on its weight. A small jar of salad dressing from Miracle Whip is only P60. I always get the salad dressing and not the sandwich spread. It's that one with '60% less fat' mark on the label. The bread and the lettuce are good for a week while the cheese and the lite salad dressing take almost a month before running out.
Not only do I enjoy simple breakfasts like this, I also find it very economical and healthy at the same time. This will surely help me in getting back to my ideal weight. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Any breakfast ideas you'd like to share with me?
