The 'ber months are synonymous to the approaching Christmas Season. Wait, they actually signal the start of Christmas season in the Philippines! Just this morning, TV shows have started playing Christmas songs. Soon it will be a regular routine among Filipino households. That is, playing and listening to Christmas carols. The mere thought of this sends a familiar warmth and joy to my heart.

I hope my entire family will be together this Christmas. The past Christmases saw our family celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ in two homes miles away from each other. We may be happy then but deep within our hearts, we were wishing for a different celebration where we were together instead of separated from each other. If before the ratio was 3:3, now it's going to be 4:2.

Today, I feel racing against time. I want to change what I think is going to happen. I want my family to spend the Christmas holidays together. My brother and I have a plan in mind. If this plan pushes through, we'll be the happiest family on earth come Christmas time. :)
