When is the right time to spend? When you need something or when you feel like buying something? I've always asked myself the same question for years now, and my response has been the same. I'd spend money to buy something if and only if I am in a dire need of it. Of course, there are exemptions to the rule. Sometimes I get to buy impulsively and I guess it's part of being human. But when buying or shopping becomes an addiction or goes beyond what you yourself will see as normal, it has to be stopped.
Just this morning, I realized that I cannot control how other people spend their money, no matter how much I care for them and their financial condition. I can only give advice or show support. But I can never dictate them on what to do with their money, even if I have good intentions. Because it's not my money and it never will be. So yeah, I'll just manage my own money and spend it based on my needs and sometimes, luxuries.
Life is good. Life is prosperous. The breadwinner will acquire more money and less problems this year. Positive thinking.
