Memory Gap at 25?

Posted by edelweiza in , , , , ,

You know you're young no more when you forget about things. Memory Gap? I dunno but I have observed in the past months that I'd forget about things a lot. This is especially true when I am stressed or my mind is preoccupied with many things. I noticed also that I am starting to forget about my dreams when I wake up, which was not the case two years ago when I could vividly remember the things I dreamt about. I am only 25 going to 26 this year. What's happening to me? Is this a disease or something? Is my memory starting to fail me, just because I seldom read books now?

My memory used to be very sharp. In fact, this had been my edge since my kindergarten days. But as I grow older (and wiser), I start to forget about things (important and not). I am not taking any drugs nor underwent any surgery so I am wondering why the hell this is at all possible. I thought memory gap happens only to old people. I guess I'm wrong.

Memory loss can happen to anyone. It happened to my grandparents and to a couple of elderly people I know. It can happen to you and me. But that's another story altogether.

Perhaps, I'm just too busy to sit back and rest my brain. Yeah, I know it needs some rest, too. But I'm just too busy with work and work and work. I know it's not that serious but who knows where this could lead! I better do something about this. I really think I should.

I hate this "memory gap" thing. Any tips for me to lessen this forgetfulness?
